The project entails a complete rebuild of a wall measuring 11.6 meters long and 1.14 meters high, damaged by a vehicle collision and initially poorly constructed. This has compromised its structural integrity. The rebuild will involve removing the damaged materials, which were filled with rubble and mortar, causing instability.
Special focus will be on the two cheek ends and a right-hand corner, ensuring stability, aesthetic appeal, and durability. These sections will be carefully rebuilt for seamless alignment and enhanced strength.
All coping stones will be re-mortared to secure them, prevent water ingress, and protect against weather damage. Using high-quality mortar and masonry best practices, the rebuild aims to meet modern safety and durability standards, ensuring long-term effectiveness.
